  It took forever to think and I started to have doubts so ignored it completely. Horrible that you have to be so aware nowadays of cons trying to get to your money. I have had 3 texts in the last week one that went to suspected spam that said I needed to pay to have a parcel delivered the next was a reminder and the last one said my parcel would be sent back if I didn't pay, as I had seen a warning on here from the post office about a scammer wanting us to pay for a parcel U just thought we'll send it back I don't care and left it. It's the elderly who often prey victim to these scammers that I feel for the most, especially when most have a very small pension to live on! Everyone is so virtuous but someone very close to me, a bright articulate young person, was recently scammed out of every penny in their bank account plus their overdraft, so yes, most people can spot a scam, but scammers are very clever and it’s surprising how easy it is to be caught. In this instance their person was called by their bank on the save number in their contacts so trusted, said they’d noticed unusual activity on account and required them to change password using card reader, within seconds the account plus overdraft was emptied into one account and then into another.   As we’re intending to vaccinate the entire adult population - and quickly - I’d rather a few people “jump” the queue than wasting time and vaccines. So a few people have had the vaccine that missed the criteria, do we know all of them were match fit, maybe their reasons weren't so venal, maybe they knew something our systems were blind to, maybe they were trying to do thier best by someone they love or care for, maybe they actually were out and out b**tards, so what?  I'm scottish and our first minister said that out of the population that has been vaccinated (can't remember a figure) it was where 99% of the covid deaths came from. That says a lot to me. And before anyone has a go I'm a type 1 diabetic who has worked with no furlough through the whole thing. I can also accept that without modern medicine I would have been dead in my teens. I'm comfortable with my own mortality as we are all born to die. I'm happy to be here but I also get that disease and disaster are one way our planet tries to regulate population.  All humans like contact with other humans, families miss meeting together. The students knew they are at fault - they ran when the police arrived. Please abide by the rules, we can all party once this is over. And these students are one day, supposed to be leaders in employment, captains of industry, examples to us all? I think everyone is entitled to party and enjoy themselves but during this pandemic and with all the possible repurcussions of their foolish actions? Don't they realise that it's the same for every young person? Do they think that because they are students it gives them the right to ignore the Law? It's time to grow up and deal with the situation as it is or get out into the real world and work like everyone else. Perhaps then they won't have the energy to party!   We've suppressed that need for best part of a year, for the sake of our vulnerable. However, there is a limit to how long that willingness is to be taken for granted. The problem is the idea of perceived freedom when it comes to festivals and consumers, honestly the only way a festival this year could be possibly go ahead is to double security and make sure shared areas such as toilets are cleaned after every use aswell as set up some sort of covid patrol, you will also have the problem of shared foot space and queues to contend with, aswell expecting drunk people drug users etc to obey the rules of covid, it is simply not feasible until covid is completely under control or gone.
