  We've suppressed that need for best part of a year, for the sake of our vulnerable. However, there is a limit to how long that willingness is to be taken for granted. Especially when we know this situation could've been handled so much better. We are being taken advantage of. I haven't talked of visiting 'people', I've talked specifically of my grandchildren. I could offer 'childcare' and legitimately see them but haven't taken that liberty with the rules precisely because I understand the need to eliminate spread. All that aside, my own needs are still a factor and I refuse to completely negate them or pretend they don't exist. Cat Wheatley Not necessarily. If the rate is low enough in the local population, where are the kids going to catch it from to spread it? In our local area, over the last week, we've had just 7 cases out of 10,000 people. How low do you want to get by March 8th before you say it's safe for the kids to return?

 The damage to my lungs caused by smoking! I was so angry when i found out, as I wasn't even a heavy smoker. I also suffer from Asthma, Sleep Apnea and COPD. Not forgetting, heart failure, diabetes and arthritis. Happy days. I stopped last February having been diagnosed with throat and tongue cancer for me it was easy stop or die. I've had chemotherapy and radiotherapy it seems to have got rid of the cancer. All this time my wife daughter and step daughter still carried on smoking. Please people stop.
