 Shame there can’t be a world wide salary cap, be nice if players played for there boyhood clubs instead of billionaire owners. Sadly never happen, why would clubs want parity with each other,  nearly every league in the world only has 3 maybe 4 clubs that can realistically win those leagues and surprise, surprise they are the richest clubs in those countries. Bad or mismanagement is the root cause of this. He’s right to highlight Barcelona, as an example of this, but football clubs have by and large tended to operate financially different from all other businesses. COVID-19, has been a game changer which has decimated club revenues from the top tier to the bottom. We’ll see a few clubs not being able to survive this unless they act and change tact with regards to spendings or lack of. The most wealthy people only care about more wealth, usually at the expense of others - even when they have more wealth then the rest of the world combined!
